Six Fibre supported the delivery of a large-scale XGS-PON full fibre rollout across the historic city of Bath, working in partnership with EJC Contracts on behalf of Virgin Media O2.
The wider programme passed approximately 9,000 homes, contributing to the expansion of next-generation fibre infrastructure across a complex and sensitive urban environment.
Operating within the constraints of a historic city, Six Fibre delivered a focused scope of high-volume network activation, including:
Fibre splicing across 6+ network builds
Testing and commissioning of the network
Delivery of over 3,000 homes passed (THP)
Despite the challenges associated with working in a heritage location, Six Fibre completed its scope in just 20 days, demonstrating the ability to mobilise quickly and deliver at pace without compromising on quality.
This project highlights Six Fibre’s capability to integrate seamlessly within large-scale delivery programmes, supporting principal contractors and network operators in achieving ambitious rollout targets.
